Tracy Beckett
Vice President, Programming
National Geographic Channels International

Tracy Beckett is Vice President, Programming, National Geographic Channels International (NGCI). Reporting to Sydney Suissa, Executive Vice President of Content, Beckett is responsible for managing the team of buyers who source, select and negotiate programming agreements on behalf of NGCI, including acquisitions, co-productions and commissions, for all National Geographic Channels outlets. She is also responsible for implementing worldwide scheduling strategies and managing the global programming inventory. In 2005, Beckett took on the new responsibility of seeking out new programming opportunities for National Geographic Channel UK.

Prior to joining National Geographic Channels International in 1997, Beckett was Director of Correspondence, Office of the Chief of Staff, The White House. She was responsible for researching and drafting responses for the Chief of Staff as well as working with Cabinet agencies and other White House offices on issue such as welfare reform, affirmative action and anti-terrorism legislation. Beckett attended Richmond College, London, England, and The College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio where she received a B.A. in English.
